In February of 2024, the City of Steinbach Council passed a resolution to create the Steinbach Sports Heritage Committee with the mission of preserving and exhibiting the stories of sport in Steinbach.
We’re located within the Southeast Event Centre, where a collection of artifacts and memorabilia are available for public viewing. Our online presence further expands the stories and allows for interactions from around the world.
We archive and display significant milestones in Steinbach's sports heritage, including memorabilia, records, and stories.
Our efforts aim to inspire young athletes and engage the community through events, exhibitions, and educational programs.
We honor local sports legends and their contributions by maintaining a Hall of Fame to celebrate their achievements.
Through workshops and historical exhibits, we educate the public about the evolution of sports in Steinbach.
